The Osprey Farpoint 40 is a “travel” backpack. I purchased it to replace my XD Design Bobby.
When going from place to place with any equipment- e.g. laptop, chargers, etc -the weight can become annoying and painful if the backpack does not support it correctly. Especially considering the Legion 5 Pro and its charger are on the heavier side when compared to other laptops.
Combine this with other things I wish to carry- e.g. a tablet, a book, a switch -the total weight adds up and not even small backpack use becomes painful. Not only this, backpacks I have used wont have the space for all of this. → The solution was a travel backpack which is typically targeted towards travelling/hiking.
